Telehealth Services

To our Primary Care Savannah Patients:

In light of recent developments with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and our concern for the health and safety of our patients and staff, Primary Care Savannah has developed an alternative to in-person office visits. We remain dedicated to providing care for you during this time of unprecedented health concern in our community, and will also continue to see patients in the office while taking every precaution to keep you safe.

For those patients who wish to keep their appointments but prefer to engage with us remotely, we have developed a virtual visit telehealth option.

DETAILS REGARDING VIRTUAL VISITS:

1. A mobile device or computer with a camera is required
2. Visits can be done through FaceTime if you are an Apple user, or Zoom if you are not
3. A text or email can be sent to you with a link to download the Zoom app (it is free-you do not need to register or create an account to use it) prior to your visit
4. A Primary Care Savannah team member will call prior to your appointment to connect you with your Provider.

Zoom is easy to use, as is FaceTime. There are no additional charges for telehealth services.
If you need labs drawn that can be done in our office. Other testing will need to be arranged as necessary.

If you wish to convert an existing appointment to a virtual visit, or if you would like to schedule a new virtual visit, please call the office at 912-201-1140 and inform the front desk.

If you are not interested in changing your currently scheduled visit, you do not need to do anything—your appointment will remain unchanged.

Please be aware that your Provider may determine that your problem is not appropriate for a virtual visit, and may ask that you be seen in person.
